According to Hindu calender month in the Sukla Paksha (the period of the brightening moon also known as the waxing phase) and the Krishna Paksha (the period of the fading moon also known as the waning phase) occurs two Luner Phases. Ekadashi is considered as the Eleventh day of each of two Luner Phases. It is considered as a spiritual day and celebrated by taking fasts.

Everyone seated there was curious and asked Pandit Sutji one question that “In the coming generations to get rid from all sorrows and Sin what will be the solution. We all are curious to hear from you”.
After hearing this request Pandit Sutji said, “ for the well being of humanity and Human being this question which you have asked with the blessings of Shri Ved Vyasji I am going to explain to you. Now you will all listen with full attention.
